A Bottle Painting Masterclass inspired by Art History
Master the Art of Painting Florals on Glass in this Transformative Online Class
Inspired by the rich symbolism and intricate detail of 17th Century Floral Still Life painting, you will go from honing your skills on paper to creating a floral masterpiece on a bottle.
All you need to do is get our your paints and pick up your favourite bottle of wine, and I’ll teach you the rest!
Here’s what you’ll learn…
• How to select the right materials and tools for bottle painting
• Effective methods to paint quickly on-site and work in more detail when you have the time to slow down
• Techniques for mixing colours, creating texture, and achieving depth and dimension in your floral design (even when you only have 5 minutes to do so)
• Tips for developing your own unique style as a bottle painter, managing the flow at live painting events, creating compositions, and so much more!
• A bit of women’s art history to inspire you and give you a sense of your own place in the timeline of art
For artists & aspiring artists alike who have a passion for the process
A one of a kind Masterclass that will inspire you to create. Ready to dive in?
Here's what's included:
5 Modules of Self-Paced Study
I broke down the workshop into 5 comprehensive modules so that it wouldn’t be super overwhelming, and further broke down the lessons into short bite-sized videos that you can work through at your own pace.
A Workbook & Worksheets
You’ll be able to download a useful and beautifully designed workbook which will provide additional context and information, as well as a few handy worksheets to help you with colour theory and more.
30+ Binge-able Video Lessons
Everything in the course is broken down into easily digestible lessons, the whole thing will take less than one season of Vanderpump Rules to watch (I’m currently marathoning all 13 seasons of this amazingly trash reality show, so I know a thing or two about binge-watching!)
Lifetime Access
Your access to this course will never expire, so feel free to revisit the lessons again and again! The techniques you will learn in this class are also skills that will stick with you for a lifetime of creativity.
Kind words from past students
Megan, Toronto
“Jodi provides a lot of extremely valuable information that took her years of training and practice and condenses it into a course and format that is easy to digest and apply. I think there is a lot of value in that for those interested in learning floral illustrations!”
Chelsea, Ottawa
“I would Definitely recommend taking this class. Most of it can easily be applied to more than florals and it reminds me of art classes I took in university/college without the pretentiousness (and 2k/semester bill). "
Lili, New York
“The amount of attention to detail she guided me through helped to slow the whole process down. The beauty in imperfection that occurs in nature can come to life on paper and Jodi gave me the confidence in my lines to capture these flowers.”

Meet your teacher; Jodi Tellier
Hello! I’m Jodi. I am a multidisciplinary artist, educator, Mom/Dog Mom, and Red Wine Enthusiast with a passion for drawing flowers, plants, and people. I have been drawing since I cold hold a pencil, and grew up always knowing that I wanted to be an artist. My business consists of providing live event calligraphy & illustration for clients who value quality & artistry as much as I do, as well as teaching online courses to the best students ever.
Since starting my business in 2016, I have worked with an extensive list of clients such as Tiffany & Co, Guerlain, Diptyque, Holt Renfrew and Dior. I have taught over 500 students everything from calligraphy to drawing and painting, to how to working with luxury brands themselves. I’m so thrilled to finally be teaching a class that combines my love of painting with my expertise in creating live art: a masterclass on bottle painting!
My goal for this class is for students to walk away a killer portfolio piece to show off to potential clients and the ability to confidently paint bottles for both in-house commissions & live on-site work.
Frequently Asked Questions
+ How long do I have access to the course?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own, and including all future updates.
+ Do I need to buy any supplies?
That will depend on what exactly you already have on hand but in general - yes, I would expect to spend a bit of money buying a few supplies. I will provide a detailed list of exactly what supplies you need for the masterclass, but you may already have some of the things you need. I'll have a list of the "essentials" and then a list of the "nice to have's" so that you know what is super important to have and what you can hold off on buying for now!
+ Will there be any live instruction / feedback or opportunity to ask questions?
In the original iteration of the class, I did a Live Q&A, which you can watch the recording of in Module 5. You will probably find many of the answers to any questions that might arise in that video! If not, I am always just a DM away and happy to answer any questions that you might have as you work through the class!
+ Who is this course for?
This course is for both beginners who are curious about getting started with bottle painting, as well as experienced artists who are already familiar witht the art. The techniques that I will be teaching are different from existing bottle painting courses, so if you have taken a previous bottle painting class you will learn lots of new things here! (I believe in having a well-rounded art education so I think taking classes from different instructors is a great idea!)
+ If I'm a total beginner, will you teach me everything I need to know from start to finish?
Yes! We will start by going over everything from what supplies to use, to practicing on paper and then finally working on the bottle. The pace of the course is designed to give you lots of breathing room in between lessons and give you a full overview of bottle painting.
+ Can I gift this course to someone?
Yes! Simply purchase the course, and then send me a message through the course platform letting me know the name & e-mail address of who you would like to gift the course to! I am always open to anyone who wants to donate a Scholarship spot in any of my courses.
