Spring Retail Event: Box Painting for Diptyque

In March, I got to spend two beautiful days doing live box painting for one of my favourite clients; Diptyque. The event took place at their elegant counter inside Holt Renfrew Ogilvy in Montreal.

I always have a wonderful time working with the Diptyque team, and this event was no exception. Taking place in late March, it was a perfect opportunity to summon spring with custom floral watercolour paintings on the brand’s beautiful minimalist white boxes.

I was inspired by the colourful floral arrangement provided by Fauchois Fleurs, which included vibrant tulips, lush greenery, and one of my personal favourite flowers - ranunculus - among many other beautiful and bright florals. I love painting live on site because it allows me to be spontaneous and loose, and this time - maybe thanks to the palpable excitement of spring being around the corner - I definitely felt like I did some of my best work!

A big thank you to Alfie & the rest of the team at Diptyque for having me back yet again to do my favourite thing all day long!
